Who we are

Shotcat is operated by Livenlabs, Uzbekistan. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@shotcat.app.

What stays on your computer

Projects, screenshots and recordings are stored in your browser, and videos are rendered on your computer. We do not receive or store them. Shotcat Mirror saves its recordings to a folder on your Mac.

What we collect

Account: your email address, plus the name and profile picture your provider shares if you sign in with Google or GitHub.

Purchases: what you bought and when, and how many AI requests you have made. Payment details are handled by Polar and never reach us.

AI requests: when you ask the AI to write captions or find taps, a few small still frames and the text you entered are sent for that request. We do not keep them.

Who processes it

Polar (payments and tax, as merchant of record), Google Gemini (AI requests), SendGrid (sign-in codes and service email), DigitalOcean (account database), plus Google and GitHub if you sign in with them, and our hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs to do this job. We do not sell your data.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Retention and your rights

We keep account and purchase records while your account exists; purchase records may be kept longer where tax law requires it. Write to hello@shotcat.app to get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
